A cozy haunted mansion is full of friendly ghosts, and every one of them wants a room of its own. Ghost Rooms is a calm logic puzzle in the Star Battle family, the same rules as Queens: place one ghost in every room, every row and every column, and never let two ghosts touch, not even diagonally.

Every board has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it by reasoning. Tap a tile to rule it out, place a ghost when you are sure, and watch the rooms light up as the last ghost settles in.

Climb the mansion

Each climb starts with three candles. Solve a floor and climb to the next; a wrong ghost snuffs a candle, and every third floor cleared gives one back. Boards are generated fresh for every climb across five difficulty levels, so no two climbs are the same. Once you have climbed high, later climbs start further up the mansion, with the floors you skip still paid.

Unlock the mansion

Every climb earns Spirit Essence. Essence fills Mansion Keys, and each key opens one of 12 doors: six ghosts who join your boards and six rooms with their own wallpaper and music, from the Conservatory to the Observatory. Or spend a key to brighten the Lantern, which raises the essence every climb pays.
